    MICHIGAN ANNOUNCES Michigan Small Business Restart Program opening July 15!! Agricultural grants are also available.
    Small businesses can apply for grants of up to $20,000 for recovery from COVID-19.
    Applications will be accepted from July 15 through August 5.
    Businesses and nonprofits with 50 or fewer employees worldwide which are located in Michigan who have NOT received a grant under the Michigan Small Business Relief Program (MSBRP) are eligible to apply. Businesses must also demonstrate that they:
    • Are part of an industry or nonprofit that has been impacted by the COVID-19 emergency
    • Need working capital to support payroll expenses, rent, mortgage payments, utility expenses or other similar expenses
    • Can demonstrate an income loss as result of the COVID-19 emergency as determined by the Michigan Strategic Fund (MSF).

    The Press Release also contains information about the newly-announced Michigan Agricultural Safety Grant Program to support the needs of Michigan’s agricultural processors and farms.
    Crews plan to close US-131 at 100th Street over the weekend to lay beams for the new bridge.
    Northbound and southbound traffic will be directed off and back on over the exit/entrance ramps. During the closure, 100th Street traffic will not be able to get onto US-131, and US-131 traffic will not be able to access 100th Street.
    The bridge replacement is expected to continue until October.
