THE CENTER LINE The Center Line June/July Newsletter YES!!
I want to share our Community News in the Yes!!
I want to advertise in the Dear CENTER LINE Advertiser, Thank you for your support of our Community Newsletter, THE CENTER LINE, which will soon be entering its fourth year of production! We feel we have brought a quality product to the community and we thank you for your ongoing contributions. We have worked hard to keep the cost of advertising affordable; to the extent we budget to cover our expenses, not to raise funds. However, expenses to produce the newsletter have gone up and we are to the point where we need to raise our prices to cover our costs. Attached is the advertising sheet with the new price information for the first issue of 2009 (February/March). Along with the increase, however, we are going to offer you an incentive to help keep your costs at a level that is still affordable to you. Starting with the February/March 2009 issue, we extend you the opportunity to save 5% on your total advertising costs by paying for your advertising in advance for the 6 issues of 2009. You must pay for the same size advertisement you expect to have in each issue in order to get the discount. For example, the 2009 cost to place a double business card size ad will be $75.00 for each issue for a total yearly cost of $450.00 – 5% ($22.50) = $427.50. This brings the increase in advertising to only an additional $7.50 for the entire year as the previous cost was $70.00 per issue X 6 = $420.00! In addition, we will also be moving the deadline for submissions back to the 1st of the month of that publication date. For example, the April/May 2009 issue will be published on March 31, therefore submissions will be due March 1. We have increased participation over the years which necessitates more planning for each issue. We thank you for your cooperation with meeting this new deadline. We still welcome community news submissions that we will include as space is available. To be eligible the organization submitting it must be a non-profit and/or the submission is of general community interest at no cost. We reserve the right to accept or decline community news submissions and general advertisements if they do not align with our chamber mission in general. Thank you again for your support and please let me know if you have any questions regarding THE CENTER LINE advertising or community news. Sincerely, Mary Meehan, Adm. Director
